Library
Information
|
The
new Stafford Library opened in October 2001 into
a gorgeous new facility at 10 Levinthal Run,
next to Stafford High School and across from
Stafford Elementary School.
Our collection of books, periodicals, videos,
DVDs, music CDs, and books on tape consist of
approximately 52,000 items.
The library is open 54 hours per week September
through June and 51 hours per week July and
August.
24 computers are available for public use, with
14 for the use of the Internet. Free
introductory workshops are available to learn
how to search the World Wide Web, learn
Microsoft Word, and navigate the Connecticut
Digital Library, also known as IConn.
Library Cards
A free Stafford
Library card is issued for four years to any
Stafford resident who presents identification
and proof of residency. Children may have a
library card at any age with a parent’s or legal
guardian’s permission. If a card is lost, there
is a $2 fee to replace it.
